Getting your property sold may look easy, especially with all the new internet options, agents with signs, on every street corner, and “discount” companies that will list it in various sources for minimum costs.

The fact is there are many sources who will tell you exactly what you want to hear to get you to sign a listing agreement. We don’t work that way. We won’t “tell you what you want to hear,” we “advise you what you need to know to get your property sold.”

When we work as your listing agents we work only for you, not for potential buyers. We believe that both sellers and buyers need their own representation in real estate transactions – no conflicts of interest that might compromise your interests or the sale of your property. We do not practice dual-agency in transactions.

We know that getting property sold is all about proper advice on preparation, appropriate pricing for the marketplace, and exposing it to the maximum possible number of buyers. Many agents today employ “closed market” practices, i.e., “coming soon” listings, or what the industry calls “pocket listings.” What you should know about that is the only way to get maximum price for your property is to fully expose it to the marketplace – “closed listings” are only in the best interest of the listing agent, never the seller!
