Many agents today employ “closed market” practices, i.e., “coming soon” listings, or what the industry calls “pocket listings.” What you should know about that is the only way to get maximum price for your property is to fully expose it to the marketplace – “closed listings” are only in the best interest of the listing agent, never the seller!
